Seminar

A network analysis perspective to understanding the impacts of COVID-19 on mobility patterns

Mohsen Bahrami (MIT)

Mohsen Bahrami (MIT) and his team explore the ways different neighborhoods are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. They use Safegraph mobility data, US census data, and NYC open datasets to show how mobility patterns have changed, and determine how the pandemic has directly impacted the way people move. They go on to examine how socio-demographic factors influence people differently.
